Pitbull
I absolutely love this sneering little bald guy Pitbull. His music absolutely kicks ass. One of the best things about living in Costa Rica has been discovering latin music, so I’m listening to a lot of amazing things that I probably never would have discovered in the United States.
Pitbull is from Miami, but is known throughout all of Latin America. One of the things I love about Latino music is that all the big stars are very social musically. They appear constantly on each other’s CDs, they make songs together, perform together, etc. That rarely happens with mainstream American musicians, and when it does of course we love the crossover. I think this simply reflects the culture, with Latinos generally being closer socially, and it’s one of the best things about the world Latinos live in.
